As a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks, you will lead store operations during your shift, ensuring a high-quality customer experience and guiding a team of baristas. This role emphasizes teamwork, leadership, and the ability to maintain a positive and energetic store environment. You will be responsible for modeling operational standards, motivating team members, and delivering expertly-crafted products while fostering a sense of belonging and connection among partners and customers.

  • Lead each shift and manage store operations to ensure quality customer service.
  • Motivate and guide team members to create an uplifting experience for customers and partners.
  • Maintain store safety and security standards, including cash handling procedures.
  • Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages according to standard recipes or customer specifications.
  • Ensure consistent attendance and punctuality among team members.
  • Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment - 1 year
  • Six (6) months of experience in a position that required constant interaction with customers
  • At least six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two (2) or more employees
  • Ability to direct the work of others and learn quickly
  • Effective oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, energetic work environment
  • Knowledge of the retail environment
