Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• 4 years general security, military or other public safety experience Required
• DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State & adhere to Piedmont's Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program policy 3500 Upon Hire Required
• IAHSS - Certification As A Security Officer Preferred

Nice To Haves

• Georgia Peace Officer Standards & Training (P.O.S.T.) certification Preferred

Responsibilities

• Frontline supervision of all assigned security functions and Public Safety staff.
• Coordinates all routine and emergency security activities as assigned by policy or management.
• Enforces all PHC regulations and applicable state and federal laws.
• Advocates crime prevention and a secure work environment through observation, interaction, and intervention.
• First responder to all emergency incidents within the assigned facility.
• Supervise and develop junior officers.
