About The Position

The Part-Time Shift Supervisor at AutoZone plays a crucial role in assisting the Store Manager with various operational tasks, ensuring a productive and safe work environment. This position focuses on training and developing staff, driving sales, and maintaining compliance with company policies while delivering exceptional customer service during assigned shifts.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• ASE Certified preferred.
• Demonstrates a high level of integrity.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Ability to drive customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with supervising, training, and developing store personnel.
• Assume responsibility for store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Commercial Sales Manager.
• Manage the Commercial and Hub Departments to ensure service delivery to commercial accounts.
• Delegate and ensure timely completion of store merchandising tasks.
• Operate cash registers and follow established cash handling duties.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and loss prevention procedures.
• Utilize ZNET to assist customers in locating merchandise or finding alternatives.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure the use of PPE by AutoZoners.
• Monitor cash flow, inventory, and security control.
• Maintain sales productivity, store appearance, and merchandising standards.
• Conduct and review all opening and closing procedures.
• Manage emergency situations and follow proper emergency procedures.
• Provide feedback on AutoZoner performance to the Store Manager.
• Monitor and manage activities related to Risk & Safety Management.
• Address and resolve customer concerns to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Process returns and manage inventory effectively.
• Communicate AutoZoner issues to the Store Manager confidentially.
• Motivate AutoZoners to provide excellent customer service and enhance productivity.
