About The Position

We are hiring immediately for a part time SHIFT SUPERVISOR position at Moses Taylor Hospital. The role involves directing the activities of associates during a specific shift and ensuring that assigned job expectations are completed while maintaining policy and procedure. The position requires working every other weekend and holiday, with the possibility of filling in for some nights and day shifts. Previous experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management.
• Ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
• Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees, and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
