About The Position

This is a part-time position requiring 1, 12-hour shift per week from 7am to 7pm. Connections Health Solutions is a leading provider of immediate-access behavioral health crisis care. Our team combines medical and recovery-oriented treatment to stabilize individuals in crisis and connect them to community-based resources for ongoing recovery. Requirements

  • At least 5 years’ experience as a direct clinical care provider in Nursing, Social Services, Administrative or Milieu support.
  • 2 years of leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to encourage cross-functional and multi-disciplinary partnership.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Working understanding of utilization management and revenue cycle management in the behavioral health setting.
  • Must be able to perform Safe Clinch patient restraint techniques.
  • Must be able to obtain a Food Handlers Card for the State of Washington.
  • Complete all credentialing requirements within the required time period.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 2 years of clinical work experience in a crisis behavioral health setting.
  • 3 years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational and administrative oversight of the facility on assigned shift or unit.
  • Ensure that patients move through the facility to the appropriate level of care.
  • Oversee the operation of the assigned unit and shift to ensure the clinical team is operating efficiently.
  • Manage the organization and flow of patients through the unit and facility.
  • Delegate work assignments for all disciplines and support admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Act as the on-site resource for clinical staff, individuals, family members, or community stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
  • Assist with training and orientation of new staff to unit processes and procedures.
  • Utilize de-escalation procedures to provide a safe milieu.
  • Partner with clinical and administrative managers to identify and manage performance issues.
  • Perform Safe Clinch techniques and provide oversight and guidance.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
