SHIFT SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)

About the position

We are hiring immediately for a full time SHIFT SUPERVISOR position at Starbucks @ FIU BBC. The position involves directing the activities of associates during a specific shift and overseeing that assigned job expectations are completed while maintaining policy and procedure. The schedule is full time with open availability preferred, and hours and days may vary. Previous Starbucks experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management.
• Ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
• Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees, and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous Starbucks experience is preferred.
