About The Position

We are hiring immediately for full time and part time SHIFT SUPERVISOR positions at the University of Idaho. The position involves directing the activities of associates during a specific shift and overseeing that assigned job expectations are completed while maintaining policy and procedure. The job requires providing training, creating work schedules, evaluating performance, preparing reports, and acting as a contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off. Requirements

• Previous supervisor or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining those who fail to meet standards.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management.
• Ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
• Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor and encourage workers to set goals for advancement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
