About The Position

Aid individuals with mental health and substance abuse issues. Establish open lines of communication for individuals. Implement house rules. Transporting clients. Collaborate with additional needed treatment. Ensure necessary documentation is complete. Other tasks as assigned. Act as a Liaison for clinical & housing staff. Keeping communication open between the clinical team, daytime housing staff, and nighttime housing staff. Assisting Program Manager with Monthly Binder Updates and Audits/Fire Drills/and Facility Inspections Assist with orientation and training for new hire CA's. Must have a flexible schedule and PRN availability. Demonstrates an exceptional ability for client communication and de-escalation. Demonstrates the ability to work well with others and offer additional training support if it is needed for other CA's Assists Program Manager in keeping up with environment of care, making sure supplies stay stocked throughout the house and the facility is up to Avery's House standards. Works closely with the Program manager as a direct contact for housing staff.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid Idaho Driver’s License in good standing.
  • Must be minimum 21 years of age.
  • Must pass background check.
  • Must pass drug screening.
  • Must be able to climb up and down stairs, hills, bend and lift 25+lbs
  • At least 2 years of behavioral health experience.
  • Management experience required.
  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • Fingerprint enhanced background clearance (preferred- will be required to obtain)
  • CPR/First Aid certification (preferred- will be required to obtain)
  • Current TB test (will be required to obtain)
