About The Position

The general function of this position is to operate the chemical process within the assigned area in a safe and efficient manner to produce a high-quality product. 12-hour rotating shifts to include nights and weekends. Responsible for ensuring the operation of the plant is accomplished in an environmentally responsible manner and in compliance with all Safety, Health, and Environmental Policy. Full-time starting hourly pay rate is $30.76. Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must have experience with basic MS Office applications, data entry, and/or general computer skills
  • Gold or above on the ACT Work Keys Assessment preferred
  • 3 years industrial manufacturing experience preferred
  • Manufacturing Basic Skills Certification preferred
  • Forklift operating experience preferred
  • Internal candidates must have a MX or above on most recent evaluation and no active corrective action documentation

Responsibilities

  • Offload hazardous chemicals
  • Read and comprehend standard operating procedures and piping and instrumentation diagrams
  • Understand the process flow and production requirements for the area assigned
  • Complete the necessary training and maintain refresher hours as required
  • Stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Perform general housekeeping to include sweeping and shoveling
  • Forklift operations
  • Work 12-hour rotating shifts to include nights and weekends
  • Work overtime coverage as required based on plant and shift needs
  • Write notifications and complete work orders in SAP
  • Data entry and tracking using Microsoft Excel
  • Communicate effectively to exchange information and ensure accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness in work
  • Consistently apply and use Outward Mindset Principles and Tools
