Micron Technology is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Shift Operations Process Technician to support the movement and prioritization of semiconductor lots through the manufacturing process. In this role, you will monitor line performance, expedite priority lots, and collaborate with engineering and process teams to resolve issues and maintain production flow. You will also support environmental, health, safety, and security protocols while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This position is critical to ensuring timely delivery and quality of products in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts (day or night), with flexibility to meet business needs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Process Technician Experience in a manufacturing plant environment or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and production flow concepts.
  • Proven ability to resolve any bottlenecks in manufacturing line.
  • Experience in lot tracking, dispatching, or operations support in a semiconductor/clean room environment.
  • Some college coursework preferred.
  • Knowledge of fab tools and systems such as ToolView, ETI, and Data Navigator a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Monitor line performance and expedite priority lots using tools such as Data Navigator, Patrol, ToolView, ETI, and Micron Central.
  • Forecast lot arrivals, assess future holds, and escalate issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Communicate fab-wide to ensure awareness and coordination of expedited lot movement.
  • Collaborate with engineering, process owners, and shift teams to resolve stalled lots and maintain flow.
  • Maintain and update priority lot lists and provide pass-downs to management.
  • Support environmental, health, safety, and security protocols and maintain training certifications.
  • Participate in meetings, update documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment and proactively address EHSS concerns.
