About The Position
Responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment in the facility. Works closely with the department Mechanical/Electrical Engineers, Electricians, Shift Supervisors, and Operators to drive the department production goals. Focus will be on safety and assisting operations as needed to ensure uptime and reliability.
Requirements
- Work 4 days on 4 days off/ 4 nights on 4 nights off rotation
- Previous mechanical experience, 2 years minimum
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, grease systems, gearing, gear/shaft alignment, rigging, bearings, couplings, and precision measuring instruments
- Fabrication skills that include torching, welding, and blueprint reading
- Self-motivated
Nice To Haves
- Proficient in comprehending hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams
- Computer skills to include Word and Excel
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment

- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and repair
- React to emergency breakdowns
- Help maintenance supervisor with projects
