About The Position

Responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment in the facility. Works closely with the department Mechanical/Electrical Engineers, Electricians, Shift Supervisors, and Operators to drive the department production goals. Focus will be on safety and assisting operations as needed to ensure uptime and reliability.

Requirements

  • Work 4 days on 4 days off/ 4 nights on 4 nights off rotation
  • Previous mechanical experience, 2 years minimum
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, grease systems, gearing, gear/shaft alignment, rigging, bearings, couplings, and precision measuring instruments
  • Fabrication skills that include torching, welding, and blueprint reading
  • Self-motivated

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient in comprehending hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams
  • Computer skills to include Word and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Good communication skills with an ability to work in a team environment
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and repair
  • React to emergency breakdowns
  • Help maintenance supervisor with projects
