We are looking for a Mechanic to join the Resolution Copper Underground Operations and Maintenance Group, which is responsible for the safe maintenance and operation of the existing physical assets, consisting of a deep shaft, multiple mine levels and associated equipment and infrastructure. Reporting to the Underground Mechanical Supervisor and working in a collaborative community, within the Operations & Maintenance department, you will be:

Requirements

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
  • Mechanical Certifications
  • 5+ years of mechanical experience, with an emphasis on operations and maintenance
  • Basic knowledge/understanding of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Knowledge of MSHA, OSHA and ASMI regulations

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance tasks on equipment and plant systems, both underground and surface, on a shift work basis
  • Maintain assets within the maintenance management framework and processes
  • Identify defects and provide feedback on asset performance, raising notifications and completing work orders
  • Ensure work management activities are undertake in line with work orders and job instructions
  • Support the defect elimination process and contributing to the work management analysis and asset tactics review
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
