Shift Manager

About the position

As a Wendy's Shift Manager, you will be part of a family that values fun, quality food, and respect. Our founder, Dave Thomas, established three rules for everyone at Wendy's: do the right thing, treat people with respect, and make food better than expected. You will be responsible for ensuring that the restaurant operates smoothly, handling customer interactions, and training new team members while maintaining food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer interactions, both positive and negative, effectively.
• Train and guide new team members on restaurant operations.
• Ensure food safety standards and procedures are followed.
• Maintain a fun, fast, and friendly environment in the restaurant.

Requirements

• At least one year of restaurant work experience.
• High school diploma or GED, or currently working to finish it.
• Experience in leading, managing, and organizing a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving, customer service, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to take and give direction effectively.
• Flexible work availability.

Nice-to-haves

• Some college or military experience.
