This role is vital to the operations within the restaurant because you'll lead important internal functions including Employee Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management. You will effectively delegate tasks to team members and report back results, directly support the General Manager to achieve restaurant performance and quality standards, and partner with the restaurant team to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate owned and operated restaurants

Responsibilities

• Lead important internal functions including Employee Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management
• Effectively delegate tasks to team members and report back results
• Directly support the General Manager to achieve restaurant performance and quality standards
• Supervise food quality, safety, cost, and new menu items
• Hire, train, and schedule restaurant staff to meet sales and profit goals
• Deliver a memorable guest experience by ensuring all staff is trained and organizing key service areas within the restaurant
• Monitor performance during the shift and take action to ensure the team is meeting McDonald's standards
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to help prepare them to run a great shift
• Meet targets during shifts and help assigned Departments meet their goals
