Shift Manager Injection Molding Manufacturing Location: Orlando, FL | Shift : Night shift 7:00pm-7:30am Lead the Floor. Develop People. Drive Results. Requirements

• 3+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage people, priorities, and performance in a fast-paced setting
• Basic technical understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel); JDE experience is a plus
• Ability to work cross-functionally and lead diverse teams

Nice To Haves

• Experience in injection molding (a plus)

Responsibilities

• Lead & Develop Your Team
• Coach, mentor, and develop Operators, Floor Assistants, and Product Movers
• Drive engagement through recognition, feedback, and growth opportunities
• Support onboarding and training to ensure team success from day one
• Build a strong, inclusive, and high-performing team culture
• Drive Production & Performance
• Oversee daily shift operations in a plastic injection molding facility
• Ensure production meets safety, quality, and efficiency standards
• Balance staffing, schedules, and workloads to meet demand
• Lead continuous improvement efforts including scrap reduction and cycle efficiency
• Utilize lean tools (5S, process improvement) to optimize operations
• Champion Safety & Accountability
• Lead by example and enforce safe work practices
• Quickly address safety concerns and ensure compliance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready production floor
• Communicate & Collaborate
• Monitor production metrics and identify root causes of issues
• Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Shipping, and Planning teams
• Conduct shift handoffs and provide clear end-of-shift reporting
• Resolve team challenges with professionalism and urgency
