About The Position

Assisting in management of day-to-day operations by managing labor, counting inventory and supplies, and developing the restaurant team Analyzes labor, sales and inventory on a continual basis Ensures that facility and equipment are maintained to company standards Supervises others efficiently Trains new crew members and conducts formal crew performance appraisals Assists Profit & Loss management by following cash control policy and security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports and taking appropriate actions Assists General Manager in recruiting, interviewing and hiring team members Restaurant Shift Manager Skills and Requirements Great news!!! However, there are some key skills and job requirements you feel you must bring to the plate prior to joining the team. These include: Must be at least 18 years of age Minimum 2 years of customer service or restaurant experience preferred Enthusiasm and willingness to learn Ability to motivate and build teams Ability to manage with minimal supervision Strong communication skills Ability to solve problems Customer service oriented QualificationsPrevious quick service management preferred but not required. This is a Nights, Weekends and Holidays position. Basic Skills Needed to be Successful:Cash ManagementSelf Initiative Ability to Multi taskBasic Math skills to manage inventoryAbility to lead a team on shift Additional InformationShift Managers begin training at $.50 over minimum wage, once they can handle a shift on their own the pay range is between $1 to $2.50 over minimum wage with potential to earn a monthly bonus based on the number of manager shifts worked and ability to meet store goals on those shifts. Monthly bonuses range from $100 to $250 until promoted to Assistant Manager.
