This position is fully accountable for the profitable operation of a Firehouse Subs Restaurant while adhering to all company guidelines and regulations. The role requires ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health regulations, hour and wage regulations, age restrictions, fair employment practices, and ADA. The position also involves knowledge, adherence, and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures. The individual will ensure profitability by operating shifts within established guidelines for food cost, labor, controllables, utilities, and sales growth. Leadership is a key component, as the individual will guide the restaurant team to meet standards of superior guest service, quality, and cleanliness while embracing the Firehouse Subs culture and mission. Additionally, the role includes assisting the General Manager in coordinating and implementing operations game plans and company initiatives profitably and timely, participating in interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining employees, and ensuring all required programs, reports, and legal documents are accurate and completed on schedule. The individual will also implement and promote all Public Safety Foundation initiatives and represent Firehouse Subs professionally at all times. Effective communication with the GM/Owner regarding any issues impacting the business is essential. The position requires the ability to work on their feet for up to 13 hours and lift up to 50 lbs. Other duties may be assigned by the GM/Owner.
