  • Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
  • Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift.
  • Plan for each shift and monitor performance.
  • Ensure the team meets McDonald's standards.
  • Monitor safety, security, and profitability.
  • Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
  • Meet targets during shifts and help assigned Departments meet their goals.
  • Manage food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance and cleanliness, crew management, quality food production, exceptional customer service, safety and security, scheduling, and training.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
  • Must be 18 years or older to be a manager.
  • Positive team player with a flexible schedule.
  • Passion to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • 5 days paid vacation one year after achieving McDonald's shift manager certification.
  • 40 hours maximum of sick time a year (earn as you go).
  • Education through Archways to Opportunity including opportunities to earn a High School degree, college tuition assistance, and English classes as a second language.
  • Medical coverage offered 60 days after achieving McDonald's shift manager certification.
