The Shift Manager Trainee will serve as Manager on Duty, opening and closing the store, and assisting the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in overseeing store operations. The role involves greeting every guest as they enter the store and providing friendly, prompt, fun, and courteous service. The trainee will operate a Point-of-Sale terminal to process guest transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and compliance with company procedures. Additionally, the trainee will attend onsite and online training to gain knowledge of management practices and the products and services offered, including Sourced & Certified products. Maintaining Responsible Vendor status for alcohol and tobacco purchases is essential, as is training and directing other sales associates to promote exceptional customer service. The trainee will also assist in maintaining property cleanliness, provide wrapping services for products, and manage weekly truck deliveries and merchandising.
