About Hollywood Park Hollywood Park, a near 300-acre sports and entertainment destination, is being developed by Los Angeles Rams Owner/Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke with the 70,000-seat SoFi Stadium as its centerpiece. Hollywood Park is the largest urban mixed-use mega development under construction in the Western United States. Requirements

  • Minimum seven (7) years of experience in security operations, including two (2) years in a supervisory or management capacity.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; [Associate's/Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field] preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a team's performance, coaching, and implementing corrective action processes in coordination with HR.
  • Proven experience in writing, updating, and enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Post Orders.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and foster a professional, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, necessary for clear, concise, and timely feedback, effective coordination, and documentation.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail for accurate record-keeping of corrective actions, major incidents, and time records.
  • In-depth knowledge of security operations, quality assurance processes, and incident management protocols (e.g., BOLO’s, fire alarms, evacuations).
  • Ability to maintain the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive information, including performance actions and major incidents.
  • Proficiency in managing day-to-day security operations, including access control systems and equipment inventory.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain positive, professional, and responsive relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Ability to work a dynamic schedule, routinely working assigned shifts, as well as other shifts, events, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Must be able to serve as the on-call 24/7 security manager, requiring a high degree of commitment and flexibility.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the office hours schedule based on departmental needs.
  • Physical ability to conduct post inspections and move throughout the property as needed to manage security operations.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain all required security certifications and licenses, such as CA Guard Card.

Responsibilities

  • Manages all security team members for their assigned shift, ensuring minimum coverage is met and promoting a teamwork-oriented approach to problem-solving and task completion.
  • Assigns Team Leaders daily tasks and verifies the completion of assigned responsibilities, providing clear, concise, and timely feedback through effective communication.
  • Manages the security team members performance corrective action process in coordination with HR and Security leadership, handling all matters with integrity and fairness.
  • Documents all corrective actions and major incidents accurately and confidentially in appropriate record-keeping systems, maintaining high standards of integrity.
  • Manages departmental and divisional security team member recognition initiatives in coordination with corporate Rewards and Recognition protocols.
  • Monitors security team members time records and coordinates with the security management team to ensure accurate payroll reporting in accordance with required timelines.
  • Coaches and mentors security team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professionalism.
  • Conducts post inspections to ensure quality assurance and working experience, ensuring service delivery meets high customer service and security standards.
  • Writes and updates existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Post Orders, ensuring clarity and accessibility through effective written communication.
  • Researches and participates in outside training to enhance overall security knowledge and maintain flexibility in adapting to new threats and technologies.
  • Coordinates with the security management team with equipment inventory tracking, storage, and organization, and other tasks as needed.
  • Manages day-to-day security operations, including approving/denying building access requests promptly and professionally.
  • Establishes and maintains positive, professional, and responsive relationships with internal and external partners, serving as a model of excellent customer service.
  • Ensures clear, consistent, and proactive communication and coordination among the security management team to maintain seamless 24/7 operations.
  • Coordinates with Security leadership regarding major incidents (e.g., BOLO’s, fire alarms, evacuations), ensuring accurate and timely reporting and follow-through with the utmost integrity.
  • Attends shift briefings, monthly Team Leader meetings, and other departmental meetings, and disseminates pertinent information via approved communication methods as needed.
  • Coordinates with all appropriate departments regarding employee Workers’ Compensation issues and other major incidents.
  • Coordinates with the security management team to ensure optimal staffing levels are met, demonstrating teamwork in resource management.
  • Routinely works assigned shifts and other shifts and events as needed, demonstrating flexibility to meet dynamic operational demands.
  • Office hours schedule is subject to change depending on department needs; must be able to adapt with flexibility.
  • Ability to work events, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Serves as the on-call 24/7 security manager, requiring a high degree of flexibility and commitment.
  • Assists with other duties as assigned, demonstrating a flexible and cooperative attitude.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
