About The Position

The Shift Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operational and financial excellence of Zalat by being a leader to their peers and demonstrating decision-making that supports operational excellence and the embodiment of SWEIMER (Smile – Be Welcoming – Make Eye Contact – Give Insanely Fabulous Service – Say My Pleasure – Enthusiasm with every interaction – Be Real). A great Shift Manager will: - Manage the cook line to drive the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed - Learn and complete operational support functions (i.e. purchasing, receiving, accounting processes, inventory) to ensure operational excellence and high financial performance - Lead shift opening and closing procedures to maintain our facilities and equipment to the highest standards

Requirements

Supervising a team, at Zalat or elsewhere, with at least a year’s experience
Holding a Food Manager Safety Certification
Exhibiting strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Understanding and complying with our cash handling procedures
Managing and adhering to schedules
Successful completion of a mandatory background check

Responsibilities
