Requirements

• At least 3 years of supervisory or management level experience in restaurant operations, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Must obtain and maintain Missouri Gaming Commission occupational license, food handler's license, Kansas City, Missouri liquor permit, and TIPS certification.
• Understand and adhere to all liquor control laws and regulations, sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of food and alcohol, and any other federal, state, and/or local regulations.
• Appropriate use of office equipment, including personal computer, telephone with voice mail system, fax machine, and copy machine.
• Must be able to work any necessary hours, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Read, write, and understand somewhat complex instructions.
• Communicate appropriately with all casino customers, casino departments, and fellow team members.
• Accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal customers at all times.
• Delegate authority and assign responsibilities and work schedules to department staff, and monitor for timely and proper completion.
• Assist the culinary teams in quality checks for all food and beverage presentations and displays throughout the restaurant/venue(s).
• Monitor staffing levels to ensure budgetary compliance.
• Provide hands-on leadership for all food and beverage outlets.
• Review, approve, and administer disciplinary action as necessary.
• Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial information, operating systems, company policies and procedures, marketing plans, and team member and guest information.
• Produce and deliver reports as needed.
• Assist with inventory control and the ordering of food and beverage supplies necessary for effective restaurant/venue operations.
• Continuously strive to build and maintain rapport with guests by promptly, professionally, and discreetly handling guest service issues and making every effort to achieve guest satisfaction.
• Effectively handle situations that may arise due to intoxicated patrons.
• Monitor all wait stations, host stand, service areas, and general appearance of the restaurant/venue to assure cleanliness and compliance with company standards.
• Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities.
• Keep work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
• Ensure the safety and security of all customers and team members.
• Comply with all policies and procedures established by Bally's KC Casino and department management.
• Other duties as assigned or any reasonable request from any member of management.
