About The Position

Requirements

  • Minimum six months previous experience supervising in Food and Beverage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Good oral and written communication skills must be fluent and literate in English.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and daily supervision to staff in the department.
  • Support and administer operational goals and monitor achievements of performance and profit objectives.
  • Adhere to scheduling and coordinate with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction.
  • Actively participate in employee engagement activities as needed within the department or property.
  • Support compliance to departmental budgets.
  • Enthusiastically support, actively promote, and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
  • Ensure customer service standards are followed by all team members and address issues as they arise.
  • Assist in maintenance of cost control methods and procedures by monitoring parts and inventory and ordering product for assigned outlets as necessary.
  • Assist in the maintenance and development of procedures for food service and inspect menu items for maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Follow established quality assurance procedures to ensure acceptable health department and customer service standards.
  • Respond to guest needs and report problems to Manager.
  • Assist Manager with administrative duties, as assigned.
  • Assist in conducting pre-shift meetings to relay pertinent information on assigned shifts.
  • Assist in cleaning and reset of F&B Outlet as necessary during assigned shift.
  • Monitor appearance of food/beverage served and communicate deviations in accordance with established standard.
  • Assist in cross training of team members while encouraging, reinforcing, and supporting peers and team.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and report potential issues to management.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
