About The Position

Popeyes, a brand with over 50 years of culinary tradition rooted in Louisiana, is seeking Shift Leaders to oversee restaurant operations. The role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with operational and safety procedures, and maintaining a positive work environment. Shift Leaders will be responsible for directing workflow, resolving customer complaints, and performing various duties as assigned. Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills
• Ability to supervise employees in a positive and respectful manner
• Customer Service mindset and ability to effectively communicate with unhappy customers/employees
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to handle difficult situations and persons in a positive and professional manner
• Advanced oral and written communication skills with the ability to write job-related items in a clear, precise manner
• Minimum of 6 months to one year of experience as a Shift Leader
• Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
• Must be 18 or older to apply.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct the restaurant operations: schedule work assignments, set priorities, direct the workflow of staff
• Give clear directions and communication to crew members
• Ensure all operational/safety procedures are followed: audits, temperature checks and required record keeping
• Process comps/voids/discounts using the Shift Leader approval procedures
• Ability to step in to any position
• Effectively resolve customer complaints or issues
• Resolve/document employee issues for management following guidelines
• Perform all other duties as assigned
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and some holidays.
