This position is fully accountable for the profitable operation of a specific shift designated by the General Manager while adhering to all company guidelines and regulations. The role involves ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including health regulations, hour and wage regulations, age restrictions, fair employment practices, and ADA. The position also requires knowledge and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures, ensuring profitability by operating shifts within established guidelines for food cost, labor, controllables, utilities, and sales growth. Leadership is provided to the restaurant team to meet standards of superior guest service, quality, and cleanliness while embracing the Firehouse Subs culture and mission. The position assists the GM in coordinating and implementing operations game plans and company initiatives, participates in interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining employees, and ensures all required programs, reports, and legal documents are accurate and completed on schedule. The role also involves active participation in Public Safety Foundation initiatives and effective communication with the GM/Owner regarding any business-impacting issues.
