About The Position

The Shift Leader at Carl's Jr. is responsible for assisting the General Manager or Person In Charge with various management activities. This role focuses on ensuring that all crew members perform their job responsibilities effectively while delivering quality customer service and supporting the restaurant's business objectives.

Requirements

• Approximately 2 to 3 years of experience in restaurant management or related education.
• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
• Excellent planning and time management skills.
• Team building skills.
• Investigative and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot cash handling problems.
• Reliable personal transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of insurance.
• Access to a telephone or other reliable communication method.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager or Person In Charge with management activities.
• Ensure all Crew Persons and Team Leaders are performing their job responsibilities.
• Provide a quality product and customer service experience that delivers total customer satisfaction.
• Support efforts to maximize sales and profits and minimize controllable costs.
• Comply with all Company policies and procedures regarding business and personnel practices.
• Model and encourage Company shared values.
• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.
• Attend training to remain current on industry trends.
• Participate in company meetings, webinars, and conference calls.
• Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
