About The Position

Modern Market Eatery is seeking experienced and enthusiastic Shift Leaders to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to grow in a restaurant leadership position and who are passionate about ensuring smooth shift operations and excellent guest service. Modern Market Eatery is a farm-fresh eatery serving awesome food in a fast-paced, open kitchen setting, committed to providing an excellent guest experience to each person that walks through their door.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of restaurant shift leader experience required
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to coordinate work of self and others
• Ability to multi-task

Nice To Haves

• Food handlers and alcohol service training preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and delegate side work tasks
• Continually monitor our food and food quality
• Properly perform opening and closing procedures as the manager in charge of those shifts
• Run the shift while making sure that all employees are taking their given / mandatory breaks at the appropriate time throughout the day
• Work all stations in the restaurant while recognizing where you are most needed at a given time
• Assist Manager with other duties as needed

• This position is paid hourly and is eligible for overtime in accordance with laws applicable to the work location.
• This position is eligible to participate in Tip sharing! This benefit can add upwards of $2 / hour additional pay and is paid out each pay period.
