About The Position

At Einstein Bros. Bagels, we believe in the bagel and have been baking them fresh daily since 1995. Our bakeries aim to spread joy and happiness, and we are committed to work-life balance for our team, with stores closing at 2pm. We are looking for a Shift Leader who collaborates directly with the General Manager to motivate the team and deliver a great guest experience. Shift Leaders are empowered to take charge, set the morale and tone, provide feedback and coaching, and open and close the store with minimal supervision. They ensure the quality of food and beverages and maintain a safe and clean store environment. This role offers career growth opportunities, with many General Managers having started as Shift Leaders or Team Members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training

Nice To Haves

• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations)
