About The Position

Shift Leaders are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and holding team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. Their two main areas of focus are ensuring the restaurant runs effectively by completing necessary operational tasks and coaching/developing team members to reach their full potential. Shift Leaders lead by example, setting the tone and standard for the entire team. They maintain a positive work environment, ensure guest satisfaction, and keep operations running smoothly during their shifts. Requirements

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred (Shift Lead, Crew Lead, Supervisor, Team Lead, Restaurant Manager, or Assistant Manager).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
  • Strong work ethic, dependability, and a positive attitude.
  • Commitment to Chick-fil-A's values and mission.
  • Smile and maintain a friendly demeanor at all times.
  • Create and maintain eye contact with guests.
  • Speak enthusiastically and make emotional connections with guests.
  • Strong people skills with a desire to serve both guests and team members.

  • Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility.
  • Ability to manage team member behavioral and performance issues professionally.
  • You will be required to pay for your first uniform.

Responsibilities

  • Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
  • Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs
  • Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
  • Be a friendly, encouraging team player
  • Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder
  • Count drawers and finalize day
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
