As a Shift Lead, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences, ensuring smooth business operations, and supporting the General Manager. You’ll be responsible for leading your team, maintaining service and quality standards, and fostering a fun and safe work environment. Shift Leads also step in to perform other team member duties as needed.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of supervisory experience, preferably in the food service industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Team players with a calm and professional demeanor
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership skills, with a focus on coaching and leading by example
  • Willingness to learn and embody our culture and values
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lbs, repetitive reaching, bending, and twisting
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day, with intermittent breaks

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an enthusiastic, positive attitude while assisting customers and resolving issues
  • De-escalate and manage conflicts effectively
  • Provide ongoing coaching and performance management for the team
  • Ensure all employees are following the proper timekeeping practices
  • Ensure execution of proper cash handling procedures
  • Complete daily cash deposits and record-keeping
  • Oversee store cleanliness, organization, and end-of-day tasks
  • Work with the team and the Safety Ambassador to provide a safe environment for our staff and our guests
  • Communicate and direct the team on food production for the day
  • Ensure team members are following the MIXT recipe and production standards and procedures, as well as adhering to state and local health codes
  • Assist the General Manager and MIT/AGM with inventory management
  • Any additional duties needed and/or assigned by your Manager
