The Shift Leader provides oversight, guidance, and support to team members as directed by the Store Manager. This role involves leading team members by assisting with training, coaching, and developing skills. The Shift Leader maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area. They demonstrate strong proficiency while remaining adaptable in a dynamic environment, supporting a wide range of tasks including opening and closing the store. The Shift Leader maintains a consistent presence throughout the store while engaging with team members and customers, and communicates with the store leadership team and team members in a way that promotes an effective and consistent flow of information throughout the store. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills and the ability to work through multiple tasks simultaneously under time constraints.
  • Excellent communication, customer service and attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • At least a basic level of competency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook.
  • Experience with common reporting and dashboard tools.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, evenings, and weekends, with regular and timely attendance in accordance with the assigned work schedule.

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year(s) of retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities
