About The Position

Firehouse Subs is looking for a reliable and motivated Shift Leader to help oversee daily operations, support the team, and ensure every guest has a great experience. This role is perfect for someone ready to take the next step in leadership—bridging the gap between crew and management while developing the skills needed to grow into a General Manager role.

Requirements

• 1+ year of restaurant or customer service experience preferred
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Flexible availability, including nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts by setting the pace, maintaining energy, and ensuring smooth operations
• Support the General Manager in daily restaurant functions
• Provide direction, coaching, and support to Crew Members
• Ensure excellent customer service and resolve guest concerns quickly
• Maintain food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Handle cash management and basic administrative tasks
• Monitor labor and help keep shifts efficient and productive
