About The Position

At Einstein Bros. Bagels, the company believes in the bagel and has been baking them fresh daily since 1995. Their bakeries aim to spread joy and happiness and are committed to work-life balance for their team, with stores closing at 2pm. They are looking for a Shift Leader who will collaborate directly with the General Manager to motivate the team and deliver a great guest experience. Shift Leaders are empowered to take charge and set the morale and tone of the team, provide feedback and coaching to team members, and open and close the store with minimal supervision. The role involves ensuring the quality of food and beverages served and maintaining a safe and clean store environment. The company highlights career growth opportunities, noting that many General Managers started as Shift Leaders or Team Members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training

Nice To Haves

• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations) and meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy
