About The Position

At Noah’s New York Bagels, a friendly gathering place for good conversation and great food, they have been serving fresh bagels, smiles, and the right amount of chutzpah since 1989. They are committed to serving food you feel good about eating and to work-life balance for their team, with stores closing at 2pm. They are looking for a Shift Leader who collaborates directly with the General Manager to motivate the team and deliver a great guest experience. Shift Leaders are empowered to take charge, set the morale and tone of the team, provide feedback and coach team members, and open and close the store with little to no supervision. They ensure the quality of food and beverages and maintain a safe and clean store environment. The role offers career growth opportunities, with many General Managers having started as Shift Leaders or Team Members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training

Nice To Haves

• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations)
• Meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy

Responsibilities
