About The Position

At Einstein Bros. Bagels, we believe in the bagel, and we’ve been baking bagels fresh daily since 1995. Our bakeries aim to spread joy and happiness, and we are committed to work-life balance for our team, with stores closing at 2pm. We are looking for a Shift Leader who will collaborate directly with the General Manager to motivate the team and deliver a great guest experience. Shift Leaders are empowered to take charge and set the morale and tone of the team, provide feedback and coaching, and open and close the store with little to no supervision. They take pride in ensuring the quality of the food and beverages served and maintaining a safe and clean store environment. This role offers opportunities for career growth, with many General Managers having started as Shift Leaders and Team Members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training

Nice To Haves

• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations)
• Meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy
