About The Position

General Summary: The Shift Leader partners with the store management team to learn and assist with the overall operations of the store on an assigned shift, including but not limited to, Customer Service, Food Service, and marketing. They will assist in training and directing the customer service representative in their duties as required by company policy and procedures as they learn basic management duties. Essential Job Duties: Proficient in all customer service representative job responsibilities. Practices and promotes the FiveStar treatment (friendly atmosphere, customer’s needs met, suggestive selling). Partners with FiveStar team to provide customers with service as outlined by the company’s policies and procedures. Assists in timely and thorough training of customer service representatives. Assists in educating store team on policies and communications. Assist store management team in ensuring inventory control methods are in place, equipment is in good condition, and safety and robbery prevention guidelines are in place. Partners with store management team to assure quality food operation. Follows-up with store employees on communications, up to and including emails, weekly and monthly specials, companywide programs. Responsible for Merchandising up to and including evaluating displays, pricing, promotional signage. Educate store employees.

Requirements

  • Professional appearance and a positive attitude
  • Must be at least 18
  • Team player, customer focused, honest, hardworking, and excellent attendance
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Ability to work on different shifts (a.m., p.m., overnight), weekends, and holidays
  • Daily standing, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, squatting, climbing, walking, lifting (up to 55 lbs.), working in cold indoor environments (35 degrees or less), and food service preparation
  • Ability to work in varying seasonal weather conditions
