About The Position

The Shift Leader role is described as essential, collaborating directly with the General Manager to motivate the team and deliver a great guest experience. Shift Leaders are empowered to take charge, set the team's morale and tone, and provide feedback and coaching to team members. They are responsible for opening and closing the store with minimal supervision, ensuring the quality of food and beverages, and maintaining a safe and clean store environment. The company emphasizes career growth, noting that many General Managers started as Shift Leaders and Team Members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training

Nice To Haves

• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations)

Responsibilities
