About The Position

At Einstein Bros. Bagels, we believe in the bagel and have been baking them fresh daily since 1995. Our bakeries aim to spread joy and happiness, and we are committed to work-life balance for our team, with stores closing at 2 PM, ensuring no evening or night shifts. We are looking for a Shift Leader to join our team. Shift Leaders collaborate directly with the General Manager to motivate the team and deliver a great guest experience. They are empowered to set the morale and tone, provide feedback, and coach team members. Shift Leaders are responsible for opening and closing the store with minimal supervision, ensuring the quality of food and beverages, and maintaining a safe and clean store environment. This role offers an opportunity for career growth, as many General Managers started as Shift Leaders or Team Members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training

Nice To Haves

• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations)

Responsibilities
