About the position
The Shift Leader at Carl's Jr. plays a crucial role in assisting the Restaurant Manager with various management activities and ensuring that all operations align with the restaurant's business plan. This part-time position requires effective leadership to maintain high standards of service, quality, and cleanliness while fostering a positive atmosphere for both employees and guests.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Restaurant Manager with management activities and duties.
- Ensure all Crew Members meet job responsibilities and expectations.
- Provide SUPERSTAR Service to all guests and handle requests positively.
- Monitor restaurant operations to anticipate and correct problems.
- Enforce and maintain Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards.
- Monitor staffing levels and manage labor costs effectively.
- Create a friendly atmosphere for employees and guests.
- Train Crew Members and provide direction and supervision.
- Support efforts to maximize sales and minimize controllable costs.
- Plan, organize, and implement operational routines during shifts.
- Role model and set a positive example for the team.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Food Handler's Certification required.
- Restaurant experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Ability to get results through others and build a team.
