About The Position

The BURGER KING SHIFT SUPERVISOR is responsible for leading and motivating the restaurant team in a Burger King restaurant to achieve the high levels of customer service satisfaction. The Shift Supervisor ensures that each visit by a customer results in friendly service and great food in a clean and inviting environment. In addition, she/he manages all aspects of the daily operations of a restaurant to maximize sales, profits and a positive customer experience.

Requirements

  • One year of management experience, preferably from a restaurant or retail environment.
  • The ability to train, guide and lead Crew Members.
  • The ability to work with a high degree of independence and discretion.
  • The ability to work flexible hours.
  • The ability to work well under pressure.
  • Good written, verbal, math and interpersonal skills.
  • A high school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises, trains, motivates and leads employees to maintain enthusiastic customer service and ensure orders are taken in a prompt, accurate and courteous manner.
  • Supervises Crew Members in the preparation of menu items, cleaning and maintenance of equipment and facilities ensure compliance with Company standards.
  • Takes inventory of stock during shift to determine use versus sold.
  • Assists store manager in training and enforcing policies and procedures regarding food safety, appearance, customer service, suggested selling techniques and sanitation are followed.
