About The Position

This position is fully accountable for the profitable operation of a specific shift designated by the General Manager while adhering to all company guidelines and regulations. The role involves ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including health regulations, hour and wage regulations, age restrictions, fair employment practices, and ADA. The position also requires knowledge and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures, ensuring profitability by operating shifts within established guidelines for food cost, labor, controllables, utilities, and sales growth. Leadership is provided to the restaurant team to meet standards of superior guest service, quality, and cleanliness while embracing the Firehouse Subs culture and mission. The role includes assisting the GM in coordinating operations, participating in hiring and training, ensuring accuracy in required programs and reports, and representing Firehouse Subs positively.

Requirements

  • Ability to work on their feet for up to 13 hours.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the restaurant is in full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Ensure knowledge, adherence, and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures.
  • Ensure profitability by operating shifts within established guidelines for food cost, labor, controllables, utilities, and sales growth.
  • Provide leadership to the restaurant team to meet standards of superior guest service, quality, and cleanliness.
  • Assist the GM in coordinating and implementing operations game plans and company initiatives.
  • Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining employees under the guidance of the GM.
  • Ensure all required programs, reports, and legal documents are accurate and completed on schedule.
  • Actively participate in all Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
  • Represent Firehouse Subs in a professional, positive manner.
  • Communicate effectively with the GM/Owner about any issues impacting the business.
  • Work on their feet for up to 13 hours at a time.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by GM/Owner.

Benefits

  • Summer hiring bonus of $300 for those working 25-35 hours/week and $600 for those working 35+ hours/week after 90 days of employment.
