As a Shift Leader at Insomnia Cookies, you will be responsible for overseeing the bakery operations during your shift, ensuring exceptional customer service and product quality. This role requires hands-on leadership, where you will manage the team, maintain operational efficiency, and create a fun and productive environment for both staff and customers. You will play a crucial role in the success of the bakery by predicting business flow and leading by example.

  • Provide incredible customer service and quality products to all guests.
  • Support store leadership by maintaining operations during your shift.
  • Communicate pertinent information and monitor production efficiency.
  • Hold the team accountable to company standards and procedures.
  • Assist in the training and coaching of team members.
  • Prioritize and delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning.
  • Support and work alongside the Cookie Crew.
  • Provide a safe, clean working environment and adhere to safe food handling practices.
  • Manage cash handling and deposits.
  • At least 1 year of working experience in a customer service focused role.
  • Point of Sale systems experience.
  • Outstanding communication, time management, and people skills.
  • Outgoing, friendly, and patient demeanor.
  • Detail focused and results-oriented.
  • Ability to lead by example and motivate others.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must be 18 years or older to be employed.
