About The Position

Uptown Cheapskate is Oklahoma's Premier Buy/Sell/Trade Fashion Exchange Business. We are looking for people with Fashion retail experience, someone that lives in the area or willing to commute, Someone that wants to help build our brand through positive customer experiences, social media engagement, fashion merchandising and staying current with the trends. SHIFT LEADER / MANAGER TRAINEE Shift leaders/keyholders serve as "manager on duty" for short periods during hours the store is open as well as being trained to open and close the store. This franchise is independently owned and operated by a franchisee. Your application will go directly to the franchisee, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this franchisee. Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years Fashion Retail Experience with at least 1 year Fashion retail management experience
  • Team player with good leadership and people skills
  • Strong coaching, customer service and selling skills with a take-charge mentality.
  • Strong verbal and written skills.
  • Outwardly display a high level of energy without the need for motivation
  • Full Time position requires Nights and Weekends

Nice To Haves

  • experience in fashion buying
  • fashion merchandising
  • fashion marketing a plus.
  • Cash management, store opening/ close down procedures, training, inventory management, loss prevention, managing associates and general store management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Opening and closing the store by following a list of tasks assigned for each day.
  • Supervising staff
  • Coaching, training and motivating team members to achieve higher performance and interaction with all customers.
  • Demonstrate high values and service by leading by example on and off the sales floor.
  • Helping maintain a fresh and visually enticing store that is clean and well organized at a level exceeding the competition and above customer expectations.
  • Assisting management and ownership with running the store.
  • Excellence at sales, customer service, inventory management, housekeeping and all other in-store tasks.
