About The Position

This position is fully accountable for the profitable operation of a specific shift designated by the General Manager while adhering to all company guidelines and regulations. The role involves ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including health regulations, hour and wage regulations, age restrictions, fair employment practices, and ADA. The position also requires knowledge and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures, ensuring profitability by managing food costs, labor, controllables, utilities, and sales growth. Leadership is a key aspect, as the individual will guide the restaurant team to meet standards of superior guest service, quality, and cleanliness while embracing the Firehouse Subs culture. The role includes assisting the GM in implementing operations game plans and company initiatives, participating in employee management, and ensuring all required programs and reports are accurate and timely. Additionally, the position involves active participation in Public Safety Foundation initiatives and effective communication with the GM/Owner regarding business impacts.

Requirements

  • Ability to work on feet for up to 13 hours at a time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the restaurant is in full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Ensure knowledge, adherence, and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures.
  • Ensure profitability by operating shifts within established guidelines for food cost, labor, controllables, utilities, and sales growth.
  • Provide leadership to the restaurant team to meet standards of superior guest service, quality, and cleanliness.
  • Assist the GM in coordinating and implementing current operations game plans and company initiatives.
  • Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining employees under the guidance of the GM.
  • Ensure all required programs, reports, and legal documents are accurate and completed on schedule.
  • Actively participate in all Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
  • Represent Firehouse Subs in a professional, positive manner at all times.
  • Communicate effectively to the GM/Owner any issues that may impact the business.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by GM/Owner.
