About The Position

The Shift Lead will supervise operations and address customers' complaints and queries in a swift, courteous manner and other duties as outlined by management. An outstanding Shift Leadr will contribute to the professional development of staff at one of our bustling restaurants.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to assign and delegate tasks.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Previous supervisory experience, preferably within a restaurant.
• Prior experience using POS software.
• Intermediate accounting and arithmetic skills.
• Strong leadership skills with an affinity for capacity development.
• Excellent conflict resolution abilities.
• Innovative, trustworthy, and impartial.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prolonged periods standing &/or walking
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and oversees the day-to-day workflow of subordinate staff in the department.
• Opening and closing the restaurant.
• Appointing, inducting, and mentoring new staff members.
• Resolving customers' questions and grievances in a professional manner.
• Ensuring that the restaurant adheres to pertinent health and safety regulations.
• Manages on premise inventory procedures as needed.
