About The Position
The Crumbl Mission: Bringing friends and families together over a box of the best desserts in the world. About Us: Crumbl is the nation's fastest-growing and largest gourmet dessert company and bakery, with over 1000 stores in the United States and Canada. We boast over 300 different recipes of cookies, small pies and cakes, and other “LTO”s. The catch is we rotate only six varieties each week so customers always have a new reason to visit (and our employees always get to do something new!). We operate in an “Open Bakery” environment, where the retail customers can see the dough mixing, baking, and dessert assembly LIVE in our bright and vibrant environment. Shift Lead Position Description: Pay: $16.00–$18.00/hr total (including guaranteed tips) Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time | Weekdays + Saturdays | Closed Sundays
Requirements
- Previous food service leadership experience
- Availability to work some, but not all, weekend shifts (We're closed on Sundays)
- Availability to open or close store when necessary (see hours below)
- Willingness to attend occasional off-site sales events outside of store
- Completion of Basic Food Handlers certificate
- Completion of all internal training certifications within 90 days of hire
- Comfortable with Smart Phone Apps, Spreadsheets, Email and Online Calendars
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to/from work
Responsibilities
- Serve as Manager on Duty during assigned shifts
- Lead and support a team of Bakers
- Assign positions and manage workflow
- Handle customer concerns professionally
- Execute opening and/or closing procedures
- Train and mentor new team members
- Coordinate and ensure scheduled dough production, dessert decoration, and baking schedules are on-track
