About The Position

In the role of Shift Lead working in Wheat Ridge, CO you are responsible for safely managing the shift operation, supporting the bottling team’s continuous development, working both at the situational and systemic level. This position leads the operational execution and sustainability of World Class Supply Chain (WCSC) efforts for the RMBC area and teams through a process of involvement, performance management and personal leadership. Reporting directly to the Line Lead, you will be accountable for the implementation of programs, policies and procedures; in addition to coordinating efforts and resources across teams to achieve shared goals.

Requirements

  • You must be able to work 12 hours shift on either straight days or nights (4 days on with 4 days off)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a high-speed production or manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering or Science of Business is preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of bottle making operations (theory & application), cost management and LEAN concepts

Responsibilities

  • Operates with a focus on safety, quality and efficiency, guiding and monitoring team member in their adherence to Safety, Quality and optimization of the team’s performance
  • Guides the team to utilize World Class Supply Chain 5S practices
  • Use key performance indicators to optimize team performance
  • Interprets production plan schedule requirements
  • Knowledge of relevant hygiene, food safety, health and safety legislation (including environmental) including safe work practices
  • Strong analytical skills, good communications, innovative approach and real sense of urgency
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities
  • You possess a strategic thinking/planning mindset by having the ability to take initiative and work effectively
