About The Position

Tropical Grille is looking for a shift leader (full time preferred, but part time possible with the right candidate). Shift Leader is responsible for opening or closing the restaurant, handling money, assisting guests, ensuring staff productivity on shift, and providing great customer service. Applicant must be reliable, friendly, and professional, with experience working in a restaurant. Job Title: Shift Leader Direct contact and resource for all store team members on lead shifts. Reports directly to Assistant General Manager and General Manager.

Responsibilities

Weekly Scheduling
Responsible for finding coverage for callouts
Responsible for assigning positions to team members and clearly outlining responsibilities to maximize efficiency
Responsible for scheduling and assigning catering drivers for deliveries on each closing shift for following day’s opening manager.
Responsible for actively managing cost of labor to maximize store coverage and profitability
