About The Position
The Lead Technician position at XPO involves general shop administrative duties, including answering and data entry. The role requires scheduling and supervising shop personnel, ordering parts, managing vendors, and ensuring technicians receive the required training. The Lead Technician will perform routine maintenance functions and adjustments on all types of class 7 and 8 diesel equipment, forklifts, and trailing equipment in compliance with the manufacturer's and company's schedules. The position also involves applying knowledge of and working by the Department of Transportation (DOT), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Interstate Authority, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
