Requirements

• Strong communication, coaching, one-on-one training, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to foster teamwork among caregivers.
• Aptitude to nurture, coach, and inspire caregivers to develop target skills, knowledge, abilities, and attitudes.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a caregiving or training role.
• Knowledge of electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Coach team members on job assignments and provide coaching for target skills, knowledge, abilities, attitudes, and cultural norms.
• Train and assist team members to correctly perform caregiver tasks and solve problems independently.
• Provide real-time training and constructive feedback on performance opportunities to team members.
• Ensure team members attend, complete, and understand all training requirements.
• Demonstrate leadership by adhering to and coaching company policies and procedures while completing caregiver duties.
• Maintain and monitor vital signs and weight in accordance with physician orders and/or nursing directives.
• Work with clinical staff to check completion of shift log records.
• Teach caregivers to document in the electronic health record.
